I am fortunate to live in the hills of Ohauiti, a suburb of Tauranga, on a property that has stunning views of Mt Mauganui, the inner harbour, and the beautiful Bay coastline extending from the Coromandel to Papamoa. With my husband I have developed this property from a bare paddock to a classically simple garden that is ideal for intimate ceremonies. Despite sweeping views, the entire garden is totally private, and offers several places for your ceremony to be conducted and also multiple photographic opportunities

27 Tupelo Place, Boscabel, is ideal for smaller, very intimate or boutique style weddings. It is equally suitable whether you decide to have a very private ceremony with just you and your two witnesses, or have 20 - 30 family and friends with you as you make your marriage commitment. The guest wing of the house is avaliable for your exclusive use if you would like to get ready for your wedding ceremony here. There is an outside washroom facility for guests. I have a cool area for flowers, and can chill champagne for you.

I provide a table and chair for signing, “hurricane vases” if you wish to have candles burning, and seating for a dozen guests. The venue is not suitable for a reception but you are welcome to bring bubbles and canapés to celebrate with immediately after being married and while you are having photographs taken. There is an olive enclosed parterre, a petanque court with seating, a pool area and a grape covered pergola. |
If the weather is not ideal for an outside ceremony I have a large summer lounge adjacent to the pool area that can be used for your ceremony. The large bifold doors open the area right up, and I have done weddings under the cover of the house, with these doors open to give a feeling of still being outside. There is ample parking on the property and on the street (at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac).
